Jonathan T. Pennington is currently Associate Professor of New Testament Interpretation and Director of Research Doctoral Studies at Southern Seminary in Louisville, Kentucky (USA). He has also regularly served as a visiting professor at Reformed Theological Seminary (Orlando), Southeastern Seminary, The Village Church Institute (Dallas), and The Institute of Biblical Studies in Orlando, FL as well as Morling College (Melbourne, Australia). He is also on the preaching staff at Sojourn East and regularly speaks and teaches in churches all over the country. He is the also the host and co-producer of the YouTube show Cars, Coffee, Theology.

He is author of The Worship Pastor (Zondervan, 2016) and Worship By Faith Alone (IVP Academic, forthcoming). A songwriter and producer, Zac’s music is streaming everywhere. Zac’s passions include the intersection of old and new in worship, the pastoral dimensions of worship leading, and recovering the gospel-centered theology of the Reformation for the sake of worship renewal.
